April 29th - Professional Development Day!

We are excited to have Dr. Leo Gomez and Dr. Joy Esquierdo returning on Friday, April 28th and 29th.   On the 28th we will conduct walk throughs looking at classroom environment.  Then on the 29th we have a full day of professional development.

On the 29th we will meet at Echo Shaw Elementary School.  We will work from 8-12, then you will have lunch on your own from 12-1, then we will continue from 1-4.  

Please bring the spiral notebook that you received during our last training.

Staff Appreciation Week

We will have a whole staff appreciation week the first week of May!  More info coming soon from Sunshine!  This week, District staff will be bringing treats to our staff in honor of Staff Appreciation Week during CIT time!

Reminders with Warm Spring Weather

• If you are going outside for an extra recess or will be in a location other than your classroom for a special activity, please let the office know so that when a parent arrives to pick up their child, we can find you!
• Please be sure to shut all of your doors and windows at the end of the day!  If you open a window in a common room (like the library), please be sure to shut it before you leave!

• The 5K is May 14th!  Don't forget to sign up for the 5K race that benefits W.L. Henry Elementary this year!  http://www.teamupforstudents.org/
• Mother’s Day Special Performance by 3rd and 4th grades on May 9th - Ballet and Music!  We will have a daytime dress rehearsal performance for students from 2-3 pm and then a big performance in the evening for parents from 6-7 pm.
